Cursa (from Arabic كرسي الجوزاء, DMG kursī al-ǧauzāʾ '  chair [of Orion ]') is a proper name of the star β Eridani (Beta Eridani). Cursa has an apparent magnitude of 2.8 mag and marks the northeastern end of the constellation Eridanus . The spectral type of Cursa is A3 IIIvar. Cursa is 90 light years from Earth. Other names: Dhalim, El Dhalim.

The IAU Working Group on Star Names (WGSN) has the proper name on 20 July 2016 Cursa defined as standardized proper name for this star.
