Curt Beil

Curt Beil , also modernized Kurt Beil , (born October 31, 1879 , † after 1944) was a German mining engineer and entrepreneur . He was the mine director and board member of Wintershall Aktiengesellschaft.

Life

He was the son of the landowner Carl Beil from Lettewitz in the Prussian province of Saxony . After attending the secondary school of the Francke Foundations in Halle (Saale) , Curt Beil studied at the Clausthal Mining Academy from 1901 to 1905 . There he passed the exam as a qualified mining engineer. After practical training in hard and lignite mining and later in potash mining, Curt Beil became operations manager, technical manager and most recently operations director at Wintershall Aktiengesellschaft. He made several major educational trips through East Asia, America and Europe and was a member and board member of numerous companies.

In 1938 he was also the owner of the company Farbwerke Wilhelm Urban , which had originally been founded in Kassel, but at the time had relocated to Spieskappel near Frielendorf . This company was listed in the commercial register until 1952.

Curt Beil was married to Minnie nee Wagener. The marriage resulted in two sons. They lived in Kassel , Humboldtstrasse 14.
