Curt Protze
Curt Protze (* 1891 ; † 1967 ) was a German Kapellmeister , organist and composer .
Life
Protze came from a Berlin family of musicians (father Hermann Protze ). He composed in various genres of music, such as orchestral and choral works as well as chamber music. The success of the operetta Münchhausen, composed as early as 1920, at the Berliner Funkstunde 1934 should be mentioned as outstanding .

The world premiere of his oratorio See, I'm standing at the door and knocking took place at the end of the 1990s by the Camerata vocale Berlin. Other choirs are now also performing this work.
