Curves
Curves - soulful driving is a magazine that has been published by Delius Klasing Verlag since 2011 . The magazine has been published once or twice a year since 2011 and has received several design awards.
The photographer Stefan Bogner designed the magazine as a travel magazine, the focus is on mountain passes in the Alps. In the form of a travel report and divided into several daily sections, the various passes crossed are presented primarily in photos. In addition, maps, profiles of the pass roads and other tourist information complement the presentation. The hallmark of all photos is the lack of vehicles and people.
The first issue, published in 2011, was designed as the corporate magazine of Mercedes-AMG GmbH. This edition dealt with the Route des Grandes Alpes between Lausanne and Nice . In autumn 2012 there was a second revised edition published by Goodyear Dunlop GmbH.
The second edition appeared in 2012 and was published by Goodyear Dunlop GmbH. Under the title “Borders >> Along the Swiss-Italian border”, alpine passes between Schluderns and the Great Saint Bernhard are presented. In the second completely revised edition of this issue, photos of a Porsche 906 and a Lamborghini Miura are shown.
The third edition in 2013 with the title “Northern Italy >> Lombardy, Veneto, South Tyrol” portrayed alpine passes between Bormio , Lake Garda and Cortina d 'Ampezzo .
The fourth edition "Pyrenees", published in 2014, shows passes between Banyuls and Biarritz . In 2015, issues 5 “Austria” and 6 “California” appeared and the first issue was reprinted with new photos. Issues 7 (Sicily) and 8 (Scotland) appeared in 2016.
The 9th edition (2017) presents picturesque coastal roads on the route from Emden via Hamburg and Sylt to Denmark. The 10th edition, also published in 2017, shows bays, as well as mountain and coastal roads on the Spanish island of Mallorca. Issue 11 (Denver, San Francisco) and Issue 12 (Thailand) will appear in mid-October 2019. In 2020 issue 13 was published with the topic "Southern Germany".
