Cyberdetective is a German radio play science fiction crime series penned by David Holy , who is also responsible for production and direction. The series was produced by Holysoft Studios Ltd. The series combines many elements that are known from James Bond , Jonas the Last Detective and cyberpunk works.

action

Cyber detective

The protagonist James lives in the mega metropolis Neo City, also called Babylon. He works as an honest detective and often has money and payment problems. His artificial intelligence "Mouse" helps him in his cases. More and more, James takes on the super-rich, business bosses and criminal elements and becomes a target of this group. The main character lives in a world full of corruption, crime and conflict. However, this world full of shadows also offers many elements of light: this is especially noticeable in technological advances that advance humans and humanity as a whole, but are abused by a group of powerful minorities.

production

The idea for the series had existed since 2003, the year the author wrote his first script. Over the years, the creation and development process matured and culminated in a reinterpretation of the material in the form of 11 scripts in 2015 in the final, now published version. According to the producer, the series has no financial background and therefore the first 4 episodes (1-3 and 5) are also published free of charge on the author's YouTube channel. The series was financed as a side production of the lavish classic productions of Holysoft Studios in 2015/2016. In this way, only well-known dubbing voices and prominent actors could be won cost-effectively, even for small roles. The draftsman Colin Winkler could be won for the cover. The title theme comes from the German composer Ryo Ishido, who is based in LA.
