The Cyclophoroidea are a superfamily of land-living snails from the order of the Architaenioglossa ( Caenogastropoda ). The superfamily, which is rich in species, genera and families, is predominantly at home in warmer regions of the Old and New World.

features

The right-hand or left-hand wound housings are very diverse. The shape of the case varies from disk-shaped to tower-shaped, and there are even irregular shapes. The cover can be calcified or uncalcified. The animals are of separate sex. The radula is taeniogloss.

Geographical distribution and habitat

The species of the superfamily occur almost worldwide in warm climates.
