Cyril Crowhurst
Cyril Ernest Willy Crowhurst (born January 1906 in Greenwich , London , England , † January 29, 1995 in the United Kingdom ) was a British sound engineer .
Life
Born in London in 1906, Crowhurst was involved in only a few British films. For the episode film So ist das Leben he was nominated for an Oscar in the category Best Sound in 1951 , but this year the award went to Thomas T. Moulton for Everything about Eva . Crowhurst also worked on two films from the carry-on series , It's Crazy - All Lovable Teachers and It's Crazy - Our Torpedo Comes Back . He died in 1995 at the age of 89.
