Dörte Maria Packeiser

Dörte Maria Packeiser (* 1957 in Hamburg ) is a German organist , choir director, cantor and church music director in Heidenheim an der Brenz .

Life

Born in Hamburg , Dörte Maria Packeiser studied organ and church music at the music college in her hometown, among others with Heinz Wunderlich . In 1982 she was appointed church musician at the Evangelical Pauluskirche (Heidenheim) , where she was awarded the title of church music director by the Evangelical Church in Württemberg . There she directs the Michaelskantorei as a choir director and works as a district cantor for the Evangelical Church District Heidenheim .

Dörte Maria Packeiser is the author of specialist church music publications and has recorded various works, in particular by Max Reger, on the organ. Together with her brother, the trumpeter Hans-Jörg Packeiser , she regularly performs in concerts.
