Bernhard Leube

Bernhard Leube (* 1954 in Ennabeuren ) is a German theologian , church musician , pastor in the Evangelical Church of Württemberg and a university professor in Tübingen .

Career

Bernhard Leube studied Protestant theology at the universities in Tübingen and Göttingen . He completed this course in 1979. He passed the church music C examination in 1982. From 1981 to 1985 Leube was a music repetiteur at the Evangelical Monastery in Tübingen . Then he was parish priest in Willmandingen on the Swabian Alb.

From 1996 to 2020 Bernhard Leube worked as a pastor at the Office for Church Music in the Stuttgart Upper Church Council of the Evangelical Church in Württemberg. At the same time he worked as a lecturer in the subjects of liturgy , hymnology and theological basics at the Evangelical College for Church Music in Tübingen. He was also active in the training of vicars and pastors' training.

In 2006 Leube was appointed professor and prorector of this university. He is a member of the Liturgical Conference , especially in the Committee “Worship and Dramaturgy”.
