Ennabeuren is a part of the municipality Heroldstatt in the Alb-Donau district in Baden-Württemberg . In the course of the community reform , the two previously independent communities Sontheim and Ennabeuren merged on October 1, 1973 to form the new community of Heroldstatt.

history

The clustered village of Ennabeuren was first mentioned in a document in 1092. Row graves were discovered on the road to Sontheim.

The Zwiefalten monastery acquired property around 1100 from the noble free von Steusslingen who were wealthy here and in the surrounding area. In 1129 the village was burned down by Duke Friedrich II on a train against the Guelph Ravensburg .

A local nobility is mentioned in the 11th to 13th centuries. The Gundelfingen, related to them, followed the Steusslingen. In the 15th century the village split into three local lordships and around 1600 there was a helpless stone, a grafeneck and a Württemberg mayor. The help stone part.

In 1413 Ennabeuren was acquired by Truchseß Hans von Bichishausen and then came into the hands of Treisch von Buttlar, later to Fürstenberg and in 1806 to Württemberg . The Grafeneckische part was bought up piece by piece by Württemberg until the beginning of the 17th century. The whole village came to the Münsingen District Office in 1808 .
