history

Dürrenbüchig was first mentioned in a document in 1335 under the name " Minoris Buch ".

From 1703 Dürrenbüchig was considered an independent municipality. In 1972 Dürrenbüchig was incorporated into the city ​​of Bretten along with eight other previously independent communities . Today this including the core city has ten districts.
