history
Dürrenbüchig was first mentioned in a document in 1335 under the name " Minoris Buch ".
From 1703 Dürrenbüchig was considered an independent municipality. In 1972 Dürrenbüchig was incorporated into the city of Bretten along with eight other previously independent communities . Today this including the core city has ten districts.
Economy and Infrastructure
In terms of transport, Dürrenbüchig is connected to the S4 line of the Karlsruhe city railway via the stop of the same name. That runs in the direction of Karlsruhe or Heilbronn. In addition, the federal highway B 293 leads past Dürrenbüchig.
