The Düsseldorf Magics were a German basketball team from Düsseldorf that played in the Pro A league. The Magics formed the 1st men's team of the basketball department of ART Düsseldorf, which was spun off into a GmbH .
After the hall on Rückertstraße and an intermediate station in the athletics hall of the Arena Sportpark, the Magics found a new home in the Burg-Wächter-Castello in Düsseldorf-Reisholz, which was newly built in 2005. However, their hall lease was terminated because the Bayer Giants Leverkusen moved to Düsseldorf in 2008.
The Pro A license was then transferred to FC Bayern Munich . The parent club ART 1877/90 Düsseldorf took over the role of the first men's team after the license transfer and plays in the basketball league.
