Dąbek is one of twenty-two villages in the rural municipality of Dąbrowa Zielona in the Częstochowa County in the far north of the Silesian Voivodeship in southern Poland . From 1975 to 1998 it belonged to the former Częstochowa Voivodeship , which was dissolved as part of an administrative reform in 1999.
