The Długi Giewont is a mountain in the Polish West Tatras with an altitude of 1867 meters in the Giewont massif . The ridge is 1.3 km long.
Location and surroundings
Below the summit lie the Dolina Strążyska , Dolina Małej Łąki and Dolina Kondratowa valleys .
tourism
The Długi Giewont was very popular with hikers. However, due to the numerous fatal accidents, it was closed to climbers.
The Kondratowa Hut , Ornak Hut and Chochołowska Hut are suitable starting points for climbing the slopes from the valleys .
