The Kondratowa Hut ( pl. Schronisko PTTK na Hali Kondratowej ) is located at an altitude of 1333 meters in Poland in the Western Tatras in the Dolina Kondratowa valley on the Hala Kondratowa mountain pasture . With 20 beds, the hut is the smallest shelter in the Polish Tatras . The area belongs to the municipality of Zakopane .

history

The hut was built in 1919, but was destroyed or damaged several times by avalanches. So it had to be renewed in 1933, 1947 and 1953. It was named after Władysław Krygowski , a Krakow lawyer who did a lot for the Tatra Mountains. The hut has been in the Tatra National Park since 1954 . It is owned by the PTTK .
