The Smreczyński Żar is a mountain on the Polish-Slovak border in the Western Tatras 1560 meters in the massif of Ciemniak .
Location and surroundings
The state border runs over the main ridge of the Tatra Mountains . The Smreczyński Żar is located north of the main ridge. North of the summit is the Dolina Kościeliska , specifically its hanging valley Dolina Pyszniańska .

The summit of Smreczyński Żar is not accessible to hikers. There are numerous caves on its slopes.
The Ornak Hut , Kondratowa Hut and Chochołowska Hut are suitable as a starting point for climbing their slopes from the valleys .
