The Wielki Giewont is a mountain in the Polish West Tatras at 1894 meters in the Giewont massif , of which it is the highest peak.
Location and surroundings
Below the summit lie the Dolina Strążyska , Dolina Małej Łąki and Dolina Kondratowa valleys . On the summit there is a 15-meter-high summit cross visible from afar, which was erected in 1901.

Routes to the summit
The hiking trail to the Wielki Giewont leads along the main ridge of the Tatra Mountains and the Polish-Slovak border.

- ▬ A red marked hiking trail leads from the Dolina Strążyska valleyover the Kondracka Przełęcz mountain passto the summit.
- ▬ A yellow hiking trail leads from the Kościelisko district of Gronik over the Kondracka Przełęcz mountain passto the summit.
The Kondratowa Hut , Ornak Hut and Chochołowska Hut are suitable starting points for an ascent from the valleys .
