DB Regio Bus Mitte

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

DB Regio Bus Mitte has been a subsidiary of Deutsche Bahn (DB) based in Mainz since 2017 , under which the company concentrates the bus routes it operates in Hesse and Rhineland-Palatinate .

The company was initially created under the name DB Regio Bus Südwest from the merger of the Saar-Pfalz-Bus with the Rhineland-Palatinate part of the Rhein-Neckar bus service . A little later, DB Busverkehr Hessen (which had only recently taken over the company Regionalverkehr Kurhessen ) was incorporated and the company was renamed to its current name.

The bus routes operated by DB Regio Bus Mitte are in North Hesse, the Wetterau, the city of Frankfurt, the Rheingau, the West Palatinate including the Saar Palatinate as well as the city of Worms and the Front Palatinate.

The independent subsidiaries DB Regio Bus Rhein-Mosel , Rhein-Mosel Verkehrsgesellschaft and Omnibusverkehr Rhein-Nahe belong to DB Regio Bus Mitte (but without the lines in the Rheingau-Taunus district that were added to DB Regio Bus Mitte).
