DHT (tape)
DHT (Abbreviation for Dance House Trance or Don't Hate This ) is a Belgian duo consisting of the music producer and MC Flor Theeuwes (born August 28, 1978 in Turnhout ) and the singer Edmée Daenen (born March 25, 1985 in Kortrijk ).
Career
Theeuwes is a member of the Danger Hardcore Team , from which the abbreviation DHT comes. He began in 2001 to move his music away from hardcore techno towards eurodance and trance , and therefore used the abbreviation of his band as his stage name , including a new meaning. In 2003 Edmée joined them, who had previously worked as a live singer for Theeuwes. The duo had several chart hits in Belgium. The single Listen to Your Heart , a cover version of the song of the same name by Roxette , which was released in Belgium in 2003, but internationally only in 2005 , achieved top 20 placements in several European countries. In the US singles charts , the single even reached number eight, and the duo received a gold record . With the following singles, both could not achieve any further chart positions.
