Jarle Falk Reiss (born April 1967 in Lørenskog ), better known as DJ Falk , is a Norwegian disc jockey , singer and songwriter . He is known for his spectacular laser shows and remixing on stage.

biography

In the first year of his life he lived in Nesodden outside Oslo , at the age of five he moved to Gjøvik , where he lived until 1987. He then moved to Østre Toten before finally moving to Northern Norway. DJ Falk has been a professional DJ since 1987 . Its biggest appearance so far took place in front of around 180,000 spectators. In September 1996 he started during a performance at the House of Longyearbyen on Spitsbergen his trance / dance project The Arctic Dance Experience .

According to his own statements, his style of music is mainly influenced by the nature of Svalbard , but also by an airplane accident in the Opera Mountains, which occurred just a week before he himself flew the route. His debut album The Arctic Dance Experience was released in May 2008, first as a download, and in autumn also as a CD on the Hot Club Records label . In 2007 and 2008 he organized laser shows in Vesterålshallen, Lofoten and Vesterålen 's largest computer party, love lan , where he was also the moderator for the competition. On the night of May 17th, 2010 he played at Hall Hadsel, where the Northern Lights Tour 2010 began, with DJ Microv, DJ Frank and the Vengaboys taking part. DJ Falk currently lives in Stokmarknes , Norway .
