Scotty (real name Oliver Heller ) is a German DJ from Göttingen .

Career

In the early 1980s, Oliver Heller started as a DJ. He produces his own pieces as well as other artists on his labels Splash-Tunes and X-pected Rec.

He had his only success outside the club charts with his version of The Black Pearl , which originally performed by Klaus Badelt from the soundtrack to Pirates of the Caribbean ( Pirates of the Caribbean - The Curse of the Black Pearl , 2003) comes from. It turned out to be a very long-lived hit, which was still in the German single charts three quarters of a year after entering the chart in November 2008 , interrupted by two twelve-week technical exclusion periods. In Austria, too, the title stayed in the charts for over half a year.
