The Dabelowsee is a natural lake in the course of the mill little river, called in Brandenburg Thymenfließ and Thymensee in the Havel inflow Hegen stone flow ends. The Mühlenfließ reaches it from the Großer Brückentinsee to the east . In the northwest there are two small tributaries from the small and the large Gadowsee
The Dabelowsee is located in the Feldberger Seenlandschaft nature park , in the Mecklenburg Lake District in southeast Mecklenburg. The eponymous district of Dabelow is located south of the lake. The lake is located a little south of the Brückentin district of Wokuhl-Dabelow . It has an approximate length of 1500 meters and an approximate width of 1400 meters. The lake consists of a west basin up to 30 meters deep with a large north-south extension and a smaller east basin only six meters deep. The northern part of the lake is forested, the southern and eastern parts are surrounded by fields and pastures. The Brückentin Youth Conservation Academy is located on the north bank.
