The animals are bright blue dorsally and a little paler ventrally . They reach a height of 51 millimeters, not including the tail and the head, which measures 16 millimeters. The width of the head is about 9 millimeters. The throat pouch is whitish and has purple stripes and dots at the base. The scales are much smaller dorsally than ventrally; but overall relatively small. The tail scales are strongly keeled and comparatively large. The round ear opening is medium in size.
