Rosenau Schloß is a village and a cadastral community of the city of Zwettl in the Zwettl district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 33 building areas with 22,388 m² and 27 gardens on 38,181 m² in the cadastral community of Rosenau Schloß , in 1989/1990 there were 33 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 92 and in 2009/2010 there were 46 buildings on 91 building areas.

Land use

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 118 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 86 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 103 hectares and 96 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 102 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 94 hectares. The average floor climate of Rosenau Castle is 23 (as of 2010).
