Ratschenhof is a village and a cadastral municipality in the municipality of Zwettl in the Zwettl district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 18 building areas with 12,601 m² and 13 gardens on 5,904 m² in the cadastral municipality of Ratschenhof , in 1989/1990 there were 22 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 63 and in 2009/2010 there were 30 buildings on 64 building areas.

Land use

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 120 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 406 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 116 hectares and 408 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 111 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 409 hectares. Ratschenhof's average floor climate is 28.8 (as of 2010).
