Waldhams is a village and a cadastral municipality in the municipality of Zwettl in the Zwettl district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there was a total of 59 building areas with 25,111 m² and 24 gardens on 5,066 m² in the cadastral community of Waldhams , in 1989/1990 there were 50 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 125 and in 2009/2010 there were 65 buildings on 126 building areas.

Land use

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 345 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 120 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 343 hectares and 118 hectares were designated as forest areas. At the end of 2018, 337 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 119 hectares. The average soil climate number of Waldhams is 21.1 (as of 2010).
