Unterrabenthan is a village and a cadastral municipality of the municipality of Zwettl in the Zwettl district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 41 building areas with 22,679 m² and 39 gardens on 39,576 m² in the cadastral community of Unterrabenthan , in 1989/1990 there were 36 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 97 and in 2009/2010 there were 54 buildings on 99 building areas.

Land use

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. At the turn of the year 1979/1980, 242 hectares were used for agriculture and 163 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 239 hectares and 166 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 232 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 165 hectares. The average soil climate of Unterrabenthan is 26.7 (as of 2010).
