Zwettl Stift is a village and a cadastral municipality of the municipality of Zwettl-Niederösterreich in the district of Zwettl in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there was a total of 117 building areas with 74,402 m² and 93 gardens on 86,565 m² in the cadastral community of Zwettl Stift , in 1989/1990 there were 176 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 390 and in 2009/2010 there were 190 buildings on 389 building areas.

Land use

The cadastral community is shaped by forestry. 329 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 555 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 279 hectares and 588 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 221 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 590 hectares. The average floor climate of Zwettl Stift is 20 (as of 2010).
