Jahrings is a village in Lower Austria and has been a cadastral municipality of the municipality of Zwettl-Lower Austria since 1970 .

geography

Jahrings is about seven kilometers southwest of the city center of Zwettl. According to the 2001 census, the cadastral community had 166 inhabitants on an area of ​​3.87 km².

Jahrings is connected to the Austrian intercity bus network by the Postbus .

The municipality borders on the west of the cadastral community of Kleinmeinharts, in the north-west of Guttenbrunn, north of Schickenhof, to the northeast and east of Waldhams, south of Merzenstein and in the south-west of the cadastral community of Oberneustift, which belongs to the city of Groß Gerungs .
