Henry von Prahl
Henry von Prahl (born February 4, 1948 in Bad Heilbrunn , † November 27, 1989 in Bogotá , Colombia ) was a Colombian biologist.
Henry von Prahl lived and worked in Colombia after his parents moved there in 1953. He taught at the Universidad del Valle in Cali and did research in the field of decapods - or ten-pods .
He died with 107 passengers on board a Boeing 727 of the Avianca airline shortly after take-off from Bogotá airport . The bomb attack is attributed to Pablo Escobar Gaviria , who is said to have murdered two capos of the rival drug cartel.
