Jones comes from the Llanelli youth academy and came in 1999 for his first assignment for the men's team of the Llanelli RFC . He made his national team debut in 2002 against Fiji . He was also nominated for the upcoming World Cup , where he was used in all five of the Welsh games and put an attempt against Italy .
