Dagmar Droysen-Reber

Dagmar Droysen-Reber (born August 25, 1928 in Barmen ) is a German musicologist and museum director.

After studying musicology , experimental physics and Romance studies as well as her doctorate as a Dr. phil. initially worked as a piano teacher and held various honorary positions in international musicological associations.

At the State Institute for Music Research in Berlin she was head of the acoustics department until 1984. In 1989 she was appointed director of the Musical Instrument Museum and was acting director of the State Institute for Music Research from 1989 to 1992 and, as Thomas Ertelt's predecessor, until August 31, 1994 .

Her successor at the museum is Conny Restle .
