Dagmar Hoßfeld

Dagmar Hoßfeld (born June 8, 1960 in Kiel ) is a German children's and youth author .

life and work

In her youth, Dagmar Hoßfeld was an enthusiastic rider. When her son was six months old, she began to write horse stories for children. Since 1999 she has published numerous novels for children and young people. It started with the Reiterhof Erlengrund series , followed by the horse boarding school Rosenberg , Der Pony-Fanklub and Die Sattelbande as well as several individual titles, for example Mia's hardest ride and saddle stories . In 2007 Dagmar Hoßfeld wrote her first fantasy novel with Kristin und das Einhorn . The book was set to music as an audio book . Today she lives with her son and her cat on the flat land between the Baltic Sea and Schlei.

Dagmar Hoßfeld writes in almost all genres of children's literature, including nine novels to date for the Conni & Co series published by Carlsen Verlag . Many of her novels have also been published as audio books, including all seven Carlotta volumes, read by Marie Bierstedt .

She lives in a small village between the Baltic Sea and Schlei.
