The Dahl Reef is a narrow, at low tide over the sea outstanding reef off the Budd Coast of the East Antarctic Wilke country . It is 2.2 km northwest of Stonehocker Point on the Clark Peninsula .

The Australian hydrographer D'Arcy Thomas Gale (* 1911) first mapped the reef as part of the survey of Newcomb Bay in the 1962 campaign as part of the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions . It is named after Egil Dahl, third mate on the research vessel Thala Dan on this research trip .
