Daiki Satō ( Japanese 佐藤 大 基 Satō Daiki ; born September 7, 1988 in Chiba Prefecture ; † July 19, 2010 ) was a Japanese football player .

Career

Satō learned to play football on the school team at Funabashi High School . He signed his first contract with Thespa Kusatsu in 2007 . The club played in the second highest league in the country, the J2 League . He played two league games for the club. In May 2007 he was loaned to Ohara Gakuen JaSRA . In July 2007 he returned to Thespa Kusatsu . For the club he completed six league games. On July 19, 2010, he died of a heart attack .
