Dainius Gaižauskas

Dainius Gaižauskas (born March 30, 1975 in Marijampolė ) is a Lithuanian politician, administrative lawyer and police commissioner , member of the Seimas since November 2016 .

Life

After graduating from secondary school in Zarasai , he completed a bachelor's degree in administration at Lietuvos policijos akademija in 1996 and a master's degree in law at Lietuvos teisės akademija in Vilnius in 1999 . From 1996 to 2001 he worked in the Marijampolė Police Department. From 2001 to 2011 he was the deputy head of the Kalvarija Police Department and Police Commissioner . From 2012 to 2016, he headed a section in the Marijampolė District Police Department and was the Chief Police Commissioner.

From 2004 to 2005 he headed the Lithuanian Police Mission in Kosovo . He worked at THOR in Pristina . From 2011 to 2012 he was a member of the Council of the Confederation of Civil Servants ( Nacionalinis pareigūnų profesinių sąjungų susivienijimas ), deputy head of Lietuvos policijos profesinė sąjunga .

He has been with Dimmission since June 2016.

He is married. He has two children with his wife Džuljeta.
