Daisy Osakue (born January 16, 1996 in Turin ) is an Italian discus thrower .

Athletic career

Daisy Osakue gained her first experience in international competitions in 2015 at the U20 European Championships in Eskilstuna , where she was eliminated in qualification with 42.29 m. The following year she finished fourth at the U23 Mediterranean Games in Tunis with 50.68 m and in 2017 she finished 13th in the shot put at the U23 European Championships in Bydgoszcz with 14.64 m and was eliminated in the discus competition without a valid attempt in the Qualification. In 2018 she won the U23 Mediterranean Games in Jesolo with 58.49 m and then came eleventh at the Mediterranean Games in Tarragona with 51.49 m. She also qualified for the European Championships , where she came in fifth with 59.32 m. The following year she won the Student World Games in Naples with a new record of 61.69 m .
