Dale Harper Husemöller , sometimes written as Husemoller, (* 1933 ) is an American mathematician who is particularly known for some textbooks.

Husemoller received his doctorate in 1959 from Harvard University under Lars Ahlfors ( Mappings, Automorphisms and Coverings of Riemann Surfaces ). He is a professor at Haverford College . Among other things, he was visiting scholar and visiting professor at the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research , the University of Bonn and the Max Planck Institute for Mathematics in Bonn, the University of Heidelberg , the IHES and the ETH Zurich .

Husemoller did research in algebraic topology and homological algebra . Among other things, he is known for his textbooks on fiber bundles and elliptic curves .
