James' husband, who is also the manager of the music label Bang Entertainment , has agreed to sign Mudanisse. In addition to her musical success, the Dama do Bling also tried her hand in fashion - her collection won first prize at Maputo Fashion Week 2009. Discussions

The life of Mudanisse is regularly featured in the Mozambican tabloid media. In particular, her previous relationship with the musician Valdemiro José and the subsequent separation from him was a much discussed topic due to Mozambique's conservative ideas about marriage. She also appeared pregnant with less clothing in prime time on Mozambican television in 2008, but lost the child a few months later - both of which are equally hotly debated topics.
