Lizha James
Elisa Lisete James Humbane , better known as Lizha James (born December 12, 1982 in Maputo , Mozambique ) is a Mozambican singer and model . Her repertoire includes marrabenta , ragga , R&B and hip-hop , but also pop and kizomba . It is associated with the typical Mozambican style of Dzukuta Pandza . James has been named one of the most beautiful women in Mozambique several times.
Life
Born in Maputo in 1982 to Jaime James Humbane and Fernanda Madalena, James began singing at an early age as part of the service in the local Methodist Church. At the age of 14 her taste in music changed fundamentally and she started singing house and electro tracks as the front woman of the group "Electro Base" . Her career took off when she decided to perform solo and in 2000 released her first album "Watching You". Two years later she began working as a model for Coca-Cola , Sabco, Mcel , King Pie and other companies.
