Soico Televisão ( STV ) is a private Mozambican television broadcaster. STV was founded in 2002 and broadcasts a 24-hour program. Currently, STV ( Sociedade Independente de Comunicação ) covers the provinces of Maputo City , Maputo Province , Gaza , Inhambane , Sofala , Manica , Tete , Zambezia and Nampula . According to the broadcaster, it has the highest TV ratings in the country.
Since February 11, 2010 the Portuguese media group Ongoing Media , which is also involved in TV projects in Brazil and Angola , has been a partner of the Soico Media Group. The same group also publishes the daily O País and various magazines. Soico also operates the radio station SFM.
