Damián Santín , full name Sergio Damián Santín Francia , (born September 22, 1980 in Cúcuta , Colombia ) is a Uruguayan football player .

The 1.87 meter tall defensive player Santín is the son of the former soccer player Sergio "Bocha" Santín . He started his career in 2000 in the ranks of Club Atlético Basáñez . In the following two years he was a player for Deportivo Maldonado . In 2003 he worked for Villa Española . In 2004 and 2005 he was a member of the squad of Club Atlético Rentistas , for which he appeared in 26 games in the Primera División in the 2004 season and scored one goal. In the following season in 2005 he was used 14 times (no goal) in the league. In the first half of 2006, the Argentine association Instituto was his employer. From there he moved to Danubio FC in August 2006 . With the Montevideans he won the Uruguayan championship in the 2006/07 season and contributed to it with six league appearances. In the Apertura 2007 three more premier league appearances followed for the club, for which he was denied a league goal. In the Clausura 2008 with Centro Atlético Fénix under contract, he played six first division matches (no goal). At Apertura 2008 he joined Villa Española again and completed twelve first division games (one goal) in this half-series. At the end of December 2008, the Brazilian club Caxias signed him . With the Brazilians he was used in eleven games (no goal) of the "Gaucho 1st Div.". From the beginning of July 2009 he continued his career at Club Olimpo in Argentina . There he played 33 times in the Primera B Nacional and scored three times in the opposing goal. In mid-June 2010 he moved to Atlético Nacional . With the Colombians he played nine first division games (no goal). A career station at Bella Vista followed from mid-January 2011 . Across the seasons he was used by the Montevideans up to the end of the 2011/12 season 17 times (one goal) in the top Uruguayan league and twice (no goal) in the 2011 Copa Sudamericana . From mid-2012 to September 2013 he was in the ranks of the Argentine club Tristán Suárez , for whom he completed 24 games (two goals) in the Primera B Metropolitana and three games (no goal) in the Copa Argentina . Since mid-September 2013 he has been a member of the Villa Españolas squad for the third time in his career. He rose with the club in the 2013/14 season from the Segunda División Amateur to the Segunda División . There he ran 33 times in the league in the following two seasons and scored four goals. In the interim season of 2016, when the year-long European system was switched back to year-bound seasons, he was promoted to the Primera Division. During the 2016 season he was used eight times (no goal) in the top Uruguayan league.
