Damian O'Hare

Damian O'Hare (born August 13, 1977 in Belfast , Northern Ireland ) is an Irish film and theater actor. Internationally, he was mainly due to his role as Lt. Gillette is known in Pirates of the Caribbean .

Life

During his childhood, O'Hare took part in various productions and radio plays and was seen in the music video Belfast Child by the music band Simple Minds directed by Andy Morahan . At the age of 18, O'Hare moved to London and attended the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA). O'Hare holds a Basic Certificate from the British Academy of Dramatic Combat (BADC).

He also starred in the television series Casualty and The Bill and in the films Titanic and Pirates of the Caribbean on Stranger Tides, alongside Johnny Depp . He has also appeared in many plays in primarily English theaters such as the Crucible Theater , Connal Morrison Lyric Theater , Criterion Theater , Manchester Royal Exchange & Tricycle Theater, and Theater 503 .
