Damian Raczkowski

Damian Raczkowski (born April 11, 1975 in Białystok ) is a Polish politician of the Platforma Obywatelska ( Civic Platform ).

Damian Raczkowski studied at the 3rd general high school " KK Baczyński " in Białystok. He then studied law at the University of Białystok . He later completed postgraduate studies in management at the Warsaw School of Economics ( SGH ) and finance at the Wroclaw School of Economics ( Akademia Ekonomiczna im. O. Langego ). From 1999 to 2001 Damian Raczkowski was a member of the Stronnictwo Konserwatywno-Ludowe ( Conservative People's Party ). From 2000 to 2002 he worked for the Państwowa Inspekcja Pracy ( State Labor Inspectorate ) and from 2001 to 2002 he was the director of the real estate department of Polskie Koleje Państwowe . In 2000, Damian Rachkowski became a member of the Choroszcz Municipal Council ; he had already run for it in 1998 without success. From 2002 to 2005 he was Deputy Starost ( District Administrator ) of the Powiat Białostocki . In 2005 he joined the Platforma Obywatelska and ran in the 2005 parliamentary elections . With 5,527 votes, he was able to win a mandate for the Sejm . In the early elections in 2007 he ran again and 15,762 votes secured him a place again.
