Damian Matthias Armin Wierling (born February 13, 1996 in Essen ) is a German swimming athlete of the SG Essen . He won his first two national championship titles in the 50 m and 100 m freestyle at the German Swimming Championships in 2016 . He also set a new German record for the 50 m freestyle with 21.81 seconds. He took part in the 2016 Summer Olympics over both routes .
He is a member of the Olympic team of the German Swimming Association .
