Damiano Quintieri (born May 4, 1990 in Cosenza ) is an Italian football player .

Career

Damiano Quintieri was born in Cosenza, Italy, which belongs to the Calabria region. At the age of thirteen, Quintieri went to Milan where he played for Inter Milan in their Primavera youth teams. He later joined AC Pisa and AC Montichiari . He made his Serie D debut in Italy at AC Montichiari from Lombardy . With the club he rose to Serie C at the end of the season , but the midfielder decided to leave the club after one season and therefore moved to Melito di Porto Salvo to the fifth division AS Valle Grecanica, which is in his home region of Calabria. In January 2012, Quintieri signed a three-year contract with FC Nõmme Kalju from the Estonian Meistriliiga . He made his debut for the club from the Tallinn district of Nõmme on the 3rd match day of the 2012 season against JK Tallinna Kalev after he was substituted on for Kristen Viikmäe .
