Damir Kurtagic

Damir Kurtagić (born May 17, 1974 in Derventa ) is a former Bosnian - Croatian basketball player . The 2.04-meter-tall winger played 33 games in the basketball league for BCJ Hamburg .

career

Kurtagić comes from the city of Derventa , in 1997 he moved to Bosna Sarajewo and played for the club in the European club competition Saporta Cup . In the summer of 2000 he was brought in by the German Bundesliga club BCJ Hamburg , for whom he booked 33 inserts in the 2000/01 season and achieved averages of 7.8 points and 4.7 rebounds. He had lived in Hamburg for a while from 1995 after leaving his home country due to the civil war. The season ended with relegation. Also in 2001/02, meanwhile in the 2nd basketball league , Kurtagić wore the BCJ shirt and was team captain. Hamburg won the 2nd Bundesliga North championship in 2002, but then withdrew to the Regionalliga after the license refusal.

Kurtagić moved to the Hamburg suburban club SC Rist Wedel in the regional league for the 2002/03 season and played for Wedel until 2006. Then he was still active for the Bramfelder SV in the 2nd and 1st regional league and in the Hamburg Oberliga for the Altrahlstedter MTV.
