Damir Mužek

Damir Mužek (born April 8, 1967 ) is a former Croatian football player and today's coach.

Career

As a player

Mužek started his career in Zagreb with NK Špansko. His next clubs were NK Vrapče, NK Trešnjevka, Inter Zaprešić and Dinamo Zagreb . When he played for NK Zagreb , Austrian teams noticed him and SK Sturm Graz brought him. In 1994 he moved to SV Austria Salzburg , one of the best Austrian teams of the time. With Salzburg, Mužek became Austrian champions. His next stop in Austria was the Grazer AK . After his stay in Austria, Mužek kept fit with the Croatian club NK Čakovec , then he helped out for a few years at the Styrian lower league club St. Johann in the Saggautal .

As a trainer

On September 17, 2009 Mužek took over the coaching position at the Croatian second division club NK Hrvatski dragovoljac , after he had previously been employed at the competitor NK Vinogradar Lokošin Dol .
