Damos
DaMos (born September 9, 1977 ; bourgeois José Federspiel ) is a Chur rapper , producer, and graffiti and video artist.
biography
In 1997 Damos founded the Graubünden rap group Oschtblock Kuabuaba together with Ali de Bengali and Gimma . In the same year, Damos won the Street Emotion graffiti award . In 1999 he showed his works in the fields of audio , video , painting and conceptual art in a group exhibition Young Artists Exporting in Chur . In 2003 he was nominated for the International Media Art Award with his experimental film Würfelwelt , in which he made it into the top 20. The video deals with the inversion of images, which are alternated at 25 frames per second (50 fields ). The film has a hypnotic character and is not suitable for epileptics . He attended the School of Design and Art in Lucerne in the fine arts department . Federspiel is also a sought-after audio carrier graphic artist. His clients include Marcus Aurelius, Gimma, Breitbild, LIV, the samplers Bock uf Rock and Bock uf Rap. In 2011 he received the sponsorship award of the Canton of Graubünden for his work as a multimedia artist.
