Dan Gawrecki

Dan Gawrecki (born December 23, 1943 in Frýdek ) is a Czech historian whose focus is Czech history from the 18th to 20th centuries in the Silesia region .

After attending grammar school in Ostrava , he studied in Olomouc from 1960 . He received his PhD in 1969 and his habilitation in 1997.
